So I've been changing my diet and now I'm eating what seems like a metric tonne of veggies and I've become addicted to sushi - which apparently isn't a bad thing as long as you stay away from the tempura and stuff like that (fried).

Well it does pay off. I'm down two pant sizes - working on a third. I have way more energy. Down 40lbs. (We won't discuss how much more I need to loose.) So as a reward I had my hair cut like Sarah Jane again (Yay... Kid's reaction was - 'Okay, now your hair looks like hers did in School Reunion. Well done, mom.') and to have my eyebrows waxed. After the fact I decided they hadn't taken enough of my decidely thick brows and thinned and shaped them some more by tweezing them - but still.

When I get under ... a certain mark. I am buying myself the jacket that she wears in the Gift (the little short brown one). Which is actually the same as the black one she wears in Prisoner of Judoon. Only it's brown. It's a mini-trench by All Saints with a removable bottom (who comes up with these ideas). I won't be able to wear it at that point - but it will sit in my closet and I will pet it until I get to the point I can wear it. At which point I think I may buy the black one too. The only problem with these designer duds is that I have to buy them in the largest size they come in - to fit EVEN AFTER my weight loss extravaganza. I am also going to con my mother into sewing me the double breasted waist coat. :) I already have the riding boots.

I've also weaned myself off of Coca-Cola. I am only allowed it when I go out - which isn't that often - though I've been out twice in the past couple of days so I've had two. And then I only drink fountain pop - which is normally SO watered down and full of ice. I'm definitely noticing differences.

I think I may go out and ride this weekend some time. Cash has been declared safe for riding - so I am going to saddle him up at some point this weekend and go out.

Okay, now a rant - so I was reading fic on Teaspoon (whofic.com) and a fic had Sarah Jane listed as being in it. Okay, so ... why do these... Rose shipping, Nu Who writers insist on including SJ and then NOT USING HER PROPERLY. Jesus christ, she didn't even have a LINE. She said NOTHING. The OC just spoke to SJ to get the use of Mr. Smith. UGGHHHHH! Just stop. Please stop. I don't even list characters unless they actually get lines generally. Hell, LIZ SHAW did have lines and I don't think I listed her everywhere for those last couple of chapters.

I mean really. Do they think that mentioning her in passing means she should be listed? I think there should be a weighted system. "Contains less than 1% Sarah Jane per chapter - if you're looking for SJ move along." Bah...

And on that note, has everyone decided it's in bad taste to write about Sarah Jane since Lis died? Or are most of you still grieving? I am too - it just my form of grieving has lots of keeping her legacy alive by writing about SJ... A lot. Not sure if she'd have approved of my fic - but yeah. We need more new Sarah Jane fic.

Also, what the heck is up with people not reviewing? Hate to tell you guys, but I put up my very old Star Trek Voyager Janeway/Chakotay fic and it's generating more reviews than my Sarah Jane fic is - and I think my Sarah Jane fiction is better. That's kind of bad. I'll write regardless - but honestly - show all our writers a little love. They put their heart and soul into this stuff. I've gotten very good about reviewing all the time now with SJ fiction. We must encourage people to keep on writing.

Finally, I'm pissed off with my oldest kid. First she conned her grandmother (my mom) into taking care of her birds for her vacation to England and Vegas. Well she's been back for weeks and still hasn't arranged for them to come home. She's supposed to be working with the horses and she hasn't. When she did come out and worked with them, her mini horse Jelly Bean got an impacted small intestine and she had to help pay to have him put down - so she complains to her grandmother that she did and I get an earful (from the grandmother on the other side). Apparently because she couldn't eat, because she had no money. Yet, I was trying to call her during that time and she didn't return my calls (probably because she was trying to avoid discussing the birds). This all came up because I had to call looking for her (because my mom wants the birds gone) and her other grandmother didn't know about the birds - so when that grandmother (her dad's mom) heard about them she went after Krys and to distract her grandmother from being pissed at her, she complained about the money.

The horse is her horse. She seems to think she should get the money from selling any of the horses that are 'hers' but not share in the costs. I'm willing to do that for ONE horse, but not three. She's being a spoilt brat.

And to top all that off, I looked at her face book page - looking for a picture of the one horse of 'hers' (that never was really hers) that we're definitely selling. And I find out that she has her STEPMOTHER listed as her mother there.

I'd be actually more upset if I wasn't still pretty high from this entire loosing weight successfully deal. Tomorrow, I'm going to lavish the younger kid with affection because apparently I may only have one child. (At least only one who appreciates what I do for her.)
